Carol makes photographs that seem to suggest isolation, solitude and longing.  Although she thinks she is simply admiring beautiful surroundings.

For 30 years in Los Angeles, Carol worked in commercial photography and television production while continuing her fine art photography practice and eventually placing her work and those of other artists through her business, cer arts.

Carol’s artwork is in numerous private and corporate collections. It is included in the public collections of The Viceroy Anguilla, British West Indies; The Delfina Hotel, Santa Monica, CA; Sheraton Gateway Hotel, Los Angeles, CA; Eastern Columbia Lofts, Los Angeles, CA and The Viceroy Hotel, Miami, FL.

Carol is a native of Rochester, NY.  She and her husband Tom Cherones divide their time between Los Angeles, California, Taos, New Mexico and the Oregon coast.  When she isn’t making photographs she is most likely working in her gardens.
